Believe in people but don’t trust them.

I’m so f*cking tired of trusting people who over and over again repeat the same mistake. People who smile to me and pretend to care when we meet but who actually don’t give a shit about me when I’m feeling down, on the other hand, they just want to take advantage of me. But I guess that fakeness is the new trend today and everyone seems to be in style. If there’s one thing I’ve learned in my 16 year old life, it’s that in the end of the day you only have yourself to trust on. Maybe I’m overreacting, maybe there are a few honest people in this world that I just haven’t met. But I’m just so tired of hoping when I’ve been let down so many times of so many people. And then they ask me why I’m so “mysterious”, why I seem to be heartless when I talk to people that I’ve just met. I’m not even near of being heartless, I’ve just learned to use my heart less. Maybe you should think about how YOU act towards others before judging someone. You have nothing to loose if you’re being real, but being fake is loosing respect. I’m working on treating people respectfully but I can only say that people will judge you no matter what you say/do, only because we all humans have different opinions, therefore the only thing you can do is simply being true to yourself. Only when you’re pleased with who you are and how you act, only then can you gain knowledge of how others want to be treated.
